A special highlight in the life of our parish is the annual regional service, where all Catholic African parishes from southern Germany meet for a joint service. This meeting is not only an opportunity to celebrate our faith together, but also to get to know each other better, recharge our batteries and learn from each other.
In June 2024, our Catholic congregation in Augsburg had the pleasure and honor of welcoming the congregations from Nuremberg, Pforzheim, Freiburg and Mannheim. It was a wonderful event where we were able to praise and thank God together. The atmosphere was characterized by joy, fellowship and spiritual depth.

This special day made us realize once again how seriously the Catholic Church in Germany takes us and how much it appreciates and supports us. The meeting was not only a sign of solidarity, but also proof that we are an important part of the church community in Germany.

The prayers, songs and conversations together inspired and strengthened us. It was a wonderful opportunity to deepen our faith and strengthen our connections with other churches. Such gatherings are invaluable as they show us that we are not alone, but part of a larger, supportive community.
We are already looking forward to next year when we can meet again and celebrate our faith and our community. Until then, the memories of this wonderful day will stay with us, reminding us that we are strong together and that our community is growing and thriving.
