What are we Christians without Christmas?
People wallowing in the darkness of the night
People, who must endure the coldness of this world without love.
People, who have no hope at the end of their lives.
Christmas reminds us of the birth of Jesus Christ, our Light, Love and Hope.
The Christmas period offers us an opportunity of intense celebration of joy and hope: God’s “declaration of love” to every human creature through the incarnation of our Lord Jesus Christ. Although he was born as a child, as a “Nobody” into this world, the angels heralded his coming with these words: “Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to men of goodwill”. I join my voices to those of the angels to wish each and every one of us, every family of our community a deep rooted peace that came with the child Jesus in our world.
I also wish to use this medium (Christmas Greetings) to say a very big “THANK YOU” to all who have contributed in any way to the good and success of our community and chaplaincy.
I wish you, a happy and blessed Christmas Celebration with your friends and relatives, and all the best especially happiness, health of mind and body, contentment and God’s manifold blessings and love for the New Year 2017.
